From Mind vs. Body to Mind and Body

I am delighted to be a featured therapist for the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy this month, and I wrote a few pieces just for the occasion. The first is all about my journey and my shift from living entirely in my head to living in both my mind and my body. I wrote it for everyone out there who, like I used to be, might be afraid of tapping into what their body has to say—and often for good reason. I wrote it to give you hope, and to also give you a better sense for how I work with the body in a therapy session. Head on over to the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy blog, and give it a read.

If it resonates with you or you’re curious to learn more about your own connection to your body, I’m accepting new clients in California for online therapy as well as for in-person therapy from my office in Berkeley (including some coveted afternoon and evening spots!). Reach out.
