Video: Signal breaths in three ways
I use signal breathing both in my own life and with clients. It’s a great, easy tool to help you calm down, settle yourself, and get back into the present moment. It can be especially useful during tough transitions. (For example, I will sometimes use this technique with clients while they transition from work mode into therapy mode. Or sometimes I’ll use this myself when I have to transition back to my personal life after a particularly deep session with a client.)
